Lake Merced is located at Skyline Blvd and Harding Rd. This lake is surrounded by myriads of places such as the San Francisco Zoo, SFPD Shooting Range, Stonestown, San Francisco State University and much more.

Lake Merced was originally inhabited by the Ohlone Indians, who fished in that lake and plied the Pacific Ocean for fish, seal and beach whale.
